Explanations

1. Site menu. "Forum Stats" contains global statistics about the forums, promotion list and list of users who are close to get a promotion. "Users Stats" contains list of all users in the database and various information about them. "Help" - this page.
2. Date settings. By default the latest collection date is selected. By choosing another date the closest collection date is displayed. By pressing on the "Latest", the date is reset back to the latest date.
3. Ranks range. On each page only 500 users are displayed, starting from rank 1 to 500, then 501 to 1000 , etc.
4. Search user. By entering user is in the text box, it's possible to search for a certain user. When the user is found, he'll be displayed with 5 users above him and 5 below him in the rank. Found user line will be highlighted. It's possible to change the dates, the search will remain, to clear the user id, press on the "Clear" button.
5. Users stat table. In the first filed the user's rank is displayed. 3 first ranks are displayed with medals. If the user's rank changed since the last collection date, the change will be displayed with the little colored numbers. If the user got a higher rank this week, the number will be green and represent how many ranks the user moved, if he got lower rank, the number will be red. Other values are explained on the Merijn's page: http://mirrors.develooper.com/hpux/stats.html

By pressing on the user's id, detailed information will be displayed. Points history along with different graphs. Date settings are useless on that page, since all the information about the user is displayed there.

"Points Progress" graph simply shows the progress in the total points of the user along the time. From he first the stats about the user were collected to the latest date. By default, 5 users above him and 5 below him in the rank are displayed too. By pressing on the graph, other users are removed.

"Ranks Difference/Progress" looks a bit complicated, but it's simple. Blue vertical lines indicated the changes in the user's rank. If the user climbed in the rank the line will be headed up with the value of the changed showed in the left Y axis (blue). The red line indicates the user's progress in ranks and it's values are found on the right Y axis (red). Actually, the blue lines represents the differential of the red line.

"Average Points per Answer" shows the points average per answer user got over the time.

By pressing on the country, all the users of the current country will be displayed. By changing the date settings, it's possible to view the history list of the users. Currently other country statistics are still under construction.

Users that assigned less than 70% of the answers to their question, will be displayed with "thumbs-down" icon near the assign rate. Nothing offending, just a little reminder that the user can take 5 mins and assign points to the ppl that helped him/her.

FAQs

Why are you doing it?
No reason. Just for fun. :-)
How the data is collected?
Actually the data is collected by Merijn, I just asked for his permission to insert it into timestamped database. I parse his html files with scripts and insert them to the database.
What sofware was used for this site?
I use MySQL as my database, Apache as web server and PHP as programming language. Both for the site and parsing scripts. Graphs are generated by "JPGraph", php library for generating graphs.
I don't see the flag of my country !
Well, no problem, send me an email and I'll add it. I checked a few first pages in the stats and put the flags of the countries.
